Campaign Story

My name is Rickelle and one of the most important things to me is family. I am an elementary school teacher who has not only devoted my life to growing great minds in the classroom but also outside of the classroom. I tutor and babysit for many of my friends and family members children. When I was 21, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I never imagined how rough and costly this journey could be. I began my journey of trying to conceive 10 years ago at the age of 24. I’ve never had a positive result. It’s been hard to maintain treatments due to the cost and due to insurance not covering many procedures. I was fortunate enough to save up for an HSG back in 2021 but now I’m being told that IUI is going to be the next step.

Being told that natural conception may never occur is devastating. I love being a bonus mom to my 3 kiddos but it would mean the world if I could experience being able to birth and raise a child and family from my own mind body and spirit. I hope that someone out there can understand my desire and please donate so that I can afford this procedure.
